Just got the board of the above machine as a replacement
for a defective Vectra XU. (fits 80% somehow)
Is there any way to select the FSB speed (66/100)?
The BX installed supports both and CPU clock settings are printed
on the PCB for 66 as well as for 100 MHZ CPUs.
But i found no Jumper/switch to select.
Does the board autoconfigure,
or are there different HW revisions hardwired for 66/100MHz?

Any help apreciated.

Check page 7-7 (PDF page 8) of the service handbook http://h200006.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/lpv07848/lpv07848. pdf or http://minilien.com/?sxlD1OSMEF It has descriptions for the motherboard switches, including FSB settings. Normally, there should be a stick-on white label inside the case too (on the power supply, maybe?) with a summary of the switch settings.

Hi Kimon,
Thanks for the hint, but its not exactly what I'm looking for, but it
helped.
Currently there is a 266MHz CPU installed but I want to use the machine
at
100MHz FSB (mith a matching CPU of course).
All the DIP switches for the multiplier are the same for 66/100MHz FSB.
So I wondered if the BIOS
may be capable of autodetecting the CPUs FSB clock,
or if there're different board revisions for 66/100MHz FSB?

While the manual describes an Dual CPU upgrade from a single
66MHz FSB CPU to dual 100MHz cpu it must be autoselecting FSB.

As written before the housing is of a Vectra XU,
so there is no matching sticker installed,
but the settings are silkscreened on the PCB.
