I've installed the new driver according to the instructions; however, now the printer will not fax or copy. It simply sits there, FOREVER, in a "warming up" mode. Any ideas?

Don't know. Got a psc750 (afaik a stripped down 950) that does somethign
similar.

Under M$W98, I installed the drivers and used only the supplied (HP)
cartridges.

Under M$Wxp, I did not install any driver, just use the supplied driver,
without any problem. Once I use third party cartridges, the printer acts
strange, with HP supplied cartridges, (the old one), no problem....

Hence, remove all drivers and try the drivers that M$Wxp finds from its
own resources. Once they fail, update to the HP ones.
Thanks for your help, Kit
