HP 932C Print Cartridge Status Light Blinking

Hi,

I'm new to this group. I've searched but not found what I'm looking
for. Hoping someone can help me. My problem is this: I have been
refilling the carts in my printer, usually successfully. The other
day I thought the color printout looked a little blurry, and I decided
to clean the contacts on the 78 cart and on the cart holder in the
printer. I used alcohol. This has worked for me in the past to get
rid of a ghost image.

However, what happened is that the "Print Cartridge Status Light"
started blinking, and it keeps blinking. I have tried everything. I
finally resorted to buying a new HP cartridge. When I put it in the
printer, much to my surprise, the light kept on blinking. Looks like
I have a problem with my printer all of a sudden. It's been a good
printer and I've really had no major problems with it to date.

Is there anything I can do to solve this one?
