Hi, HP Printer Users,
I'm cleaning up an HP OfficeJet for my daughter, and was surprised when the
HP Driver support offers drivers that my computer says "are not 32-bit
software" . I've never run into this problem. What's your best advice?

How old is that printer ? HP has a reputation of not writing
updated drivers for existing hardware when new OS's are
released.

Reputation? You are too kind. "Policy" is a better description, except when
large corporate customers squawk about support for very expensive high-end laser
printers... Ben Myers

He, he, he. Yeah, well, it certainly would be a "policy", rather than
a "habit" in a company that size. I recall speaking with them once on
the phone about software for a new OS since the old software didn't
cut it. "We are aware of those issues" said the tech. "Does that mean
you'll be writing an update ?", I asked. Even though we didn't have a
video phone, I could tell he was staring at me as if I had asked him
to slow the rotation of the earth for a moment.
