Hi NG!

Shoud there be a Preinstall on my HP TC1000 ? (WinXP).
I got my one yesterday, but if I start it up, it boots a Win95 (Windows 95
is starting - appears on the screen), but by the network part, it stocks. No
network adapter present. If i push the return key three times, a blue screen
with some infos about partition appears (quick) (i could see the message: no
partition or something) and then he reboots.

And the network boot from TFTPD fails:
1.. PXE netboot the image provided in the unattended install package. Your
TC1000 should now boot into DOS. When asked for the share, press CTRL-C.
When asked "Terminate batch file?" Answer "yes".

2.. Type in "NET USE Q:<insert share here>", e.g. \\SERVER\CDS.

3.. Load the mouse driver: mouse.com.

4.. Run the following command, the system will restore immediately:
"Q:\TOOLS\PQIMGMB.EXE /CMD=Q:\TOOLS\QRESTORE.SCR
/IMG=Q:\RESTORE\FACTORY.PQI /NRB /ESF=Q:\TOOLS\ENSTR.TXT

scj/TC1000/software.html+TC1000+Restore+without+CD-Rom&hl=de&ie=UTF-8)
I've tryed this, but it stops at the beginn of the setup with the message:
Could not open script command file.

Can someone help me ?

Thanks!

Samuel
