Does anyone know if the MTU can be changed on an HP procurve 5300
switch? I have someone that wants to run mtu 9000 on the GigE ports
but I am relatively unfamiliar with this product and don't see it in
the documentation. Any insight appreciated.
Thanks,
nb

I'm reasonably sure that only some of the blades for the 9XXX's can be
configured for JumboFrames. You might point your browser at
http://www.hp.com/go/procurve and then do a search for "jumbo frame" -
that will show support for them on the 93XX, but doesn't get a hit on
the 53XX's.
What sort of system/NIC does the person have who wants to run the 9000
byte MTU?
