This is bizarre.
I took in a client's computer she purchased in May. It was infected with
Klez and Blaster.
Upon starting it in Safe Mode, where I am prompted to choose which Windows
install to boot, it appears as Whister instead of XP, which I haven't seen
since the XP beta two years ago.
Not only that, it is running XP, NOT XP SP1, which you would expect to be
installed on a computer that was sold in May 2003.
Anyone else seen this?
