I have a Pavilion 6475Z and I have the original recovery CDs. I have lost
the Authenticity Code for the CDs.

Are the numbers the same for All 6475Z?

If yes, could comeone on the list email me the numbers?

Or will the Authenticity Code from my Pavilion 8776C work with the 6475Z?

Thanks for any help - Robert

Certificates of Authentication (COAs) are unique to a computer system. They are
generated with a different algorithm for each version of a Micro$oft operating
system.

In other words, you could re-use a COA from Windows ME on another system with
ME. If you did so, you would be in violation of Micro$oft's license terms, and
their software license police might come roaring down your throat... Ben Myers
