Have an HP 9900i DVD/CD-RW drive which works great when using the HP
software to write to a CD-R cd. Now I want to write to CD-RW (rewriteable)
and using WinXP. Shouldn't I be able to just copy files to it from Windows
Explorer. I do that and it creates temporary files on the drive and then
when I tell it to write to the CD from Explorer it goes into the Wizard and
does not recognize the CD-RW disk I have inserted ???
So you have to use special software to write to CD-RW. Is there a driver I
am most likely missing? Thought it was built into WinXP.
