Wow, am I ever glad to have found this newsgroup! So much potential
w/ HP peripherals -- and yet so many niggling tech issues to overcome.

I have learned how to print on banner paper with my HP DJ940C, using
Word2000 and Win98. My Word document is a "Custom" 8.5 x 20 inch
format, which accomodates for about 250 columns of Courier text at 6pt
size - the smallest readable size I can use. I am using "Custom"
because if I select either "Banner" paper size, the text is forced to
wrap around on the screen, almost doubling the document's 50 lines of
text, and messing up the entire layout. I want the layout to look
like output that would come from a mainframe's line-printer; the stuff
that always is on that ugly "Greenbar" paper.

How do I print 50 records of 19-inch-long text lines on continuous
paper so that I don't have to rewrite my program and do silly
cutting-up and taping-together of printouts? Is this normally done
with shareware (seems that is always for graphics and not text) or can
hp's supplied software handle this?
