Hi
I have a problem with HP OfficeJet K80. Since a few weeks it only
prints half pages. If I want to print an attachment, the printer
prints the whole document, but every page is only half-printed.
Instead of printing 4 pages on 4 sheets of paper, it prints these 4
pages on 8 sheets of paper.
I checked the logs, but couldn't find a cause of this problem. The
weird thing is that this only happens with IE and Outlook, not with
Word and Excel (those documents are printed perfectly). In addition to
this, the computer and the printer both never report a problem or
error. So I thought the problem must be in IE and Outlook, but I
cannot uninstall both programs without reinstalling Win XP.. So I'm
kind of stuck and I was hoping that someone had a better solution for
me.
Specs:
Pentium IV, Win XP (no special characterictics).
What I did so far:
- reinstall printer (no effect)
- analyze the properties and preferences of printer (no effect)
