Yes, tell all of the 1000's of idiots who run their computers online with no
antivirus software to get themselves protected.
PS, you crossposted the 144k worm to at least 20 newsgroups

This barrage of emails is the result of the W32.SWEN worm, which embeds itself
in a computer when one clicks on the attachment. Thereafter, it continuously
broadcasts itself to the email addresses in the computer's address book.
There are a lot of foolish people who actually believed that Microsoft was
emailing them a security patch, so they clicked on it. They are clueless enough
to think that nothing odd is happening, except that their computer has gotten
slower. If your email address is in a lot of people's address books, you get a
lot of this garbage spammed at you, like I do.
The folks with the white hats at Symantec have developed a one-off virus removal
tool for W32.SWEN , and it is a free download from their website, even if you do
not use NAV. I would encourage everyone to download and run it. You never know
if your computer is wormy.
There are a lot of solutions which could be implemented to stop this junk from
filling up mailboxes, but the companies who could do something about it are
simply too damned arrogant and too damned greedy to spend a buck for the good of
the internet. These companies include Microsoft and every major ISP.
