news:3fa759f3$0$249$636a55ce@news.free.fr... Hi there, We just received an RX2600 Integrity server, but I do not find anywhere
how to know whether it is a 1.3 or 1.5 GHz bundle
At the EFI shell prompt, type "info cpu", or "info all" for more
information:
Shell> info cpu
PROCESSOR MODULE INFORMATION
# of L3 L4 Family/

Merci Paul, but the boot sequence does not halt, and as I do not know that
machine I do not wish to press this or that button to halt it. Or I may try ^P ? :-)

^P won't do much here.
As the machine is booting, while you watch the console, at some point
a list of boot options should appear with some lines about EFI
versions at the top. There will also be a count-down timer going
displaying the number of seconds before it start to try to autoboot.
If you press any key before that timer gets to zero, it will halt the
boot sequence. From there, you can use the up/down arrow keys (or v
and ^) to scroll through the list. You can then select the option i
nthe list that says "EFI mumble" which will leave you at a "SHELL>"
prompt (iirc). From there you can do various interesting things. It
is "safe" to either "reset" or power cycle the machine at this level.
If the system has a "management card" installed, and you type ^B (be
very careful of KSH etc on the console...) you can go into the service
processor functionality.
Many of the details should be online in the systems hardware manual at
docs.hp.com.
