G'Day,
Does anyone have a solution to the problem of installing a PSC1210
all-in-one printer on Windows 98se? I receive the following
(abreviated)error message:
SETUP caused an exception C06D007FH in module SETUP.EXE at
018F:0042EA94.
I have tried the same install on three different loads of Windows 98
and on two different hardware platforms. Same error message with a
slight change in the address.
I have tried the driver software that came with the printer and latest
version of the driver 2.1.0, same problem exists wiht both.
HP site and the printer docs says the printer is supported under
Windows 98. I am having my doubts. On Windows 2000 the software loads
without exception. The fact I am using 98 seems to be the only thing
in common. Has anyone experienced this problem and found a solution
while preserving Windows 98?
