HP PhotoSmart Software

I'm trying to find info on HP's PhotoSmart software, not at all
relat4ed to the PhotoSmart line of printers, but some photo printing
software called PhotoSmart. It came with my 970cse, on the CD in
/ENU/PHTOSMRT. It installs as "HP PhotoSmart" or "HP Photo Printing".
What I'm trying to figure out is, my version 1.6.0.18, does anyone
know if there's a newer version, or what the newest version is? Has
anyone recently purchased a new HP printer, and does it come with this
software? OR, if anyone is familiar with the software, and knows of
some commercial software that is as good or better (which I haven't
found yet), I'd like to hear about that as well.

I have a PhotoSmart 1000 and it came with the aforementioned software, same version, I find it very
useful too...luck...
