Digital Sender 9100c

I have been trying to setup a digital sender for the past weeks and I
am not winning. Using exchange 2000, installed all the software and
programmed the sender and it is still not sending documents, it says
LDAP server is unreachable. I can ping the LDAP server from my
machine and I get a reply but then on the sender it says it is
unreachable. As we do not have an LDAP server in my organization I
have use the mail server address, I don't know if I should use the
global catalog/domain controller as the LDAP or the mail server. When
I send documents I get "nw error"

Solution is at hadn I think what the issue is that your LDAP settings
on scanner are incorrect. firstly access the scanners web interface on
http://thefiexipaddress:4242 there go to settings / connections and to
ldap

ensure you have the right IP/ port number entered there. Then go into
the autheticatio button and enter ausername that can authenicate on
the ldap server. Best just to create a new one as details are stored
as plain text and thus easily accessible.
