hp pavilion n3110 problems

I amtrying to upgrade hp pavilion n3110 model notebook from win 98 to
win 2000 and having no luck with the video driver. I did everything
like i was supposed to..downloaded all the drivers and updated the
bios.

When I install the video driver from the driver package below, nothing
happens. I cant change the video settings after the reboot..even
though the installation of Silicon Motion Lynx driver is successfull.
Please help..is there any other video drivers for this system.
