I have a pavilion 6540C with a 466Mh Celeron processor, and would like
to upgrade it to an AMD Athalon 2800+ Barton. Can anyone reccomend a
motherboard??

You'll need more than just the motherboard and CPU. Also DDR memory and a power
supply capable of handling a fast Athlon (or Pentium 4). Since you'll need a
new power supply anyway, just replace entire HP chassis and power supply. The
HP Pavilions, in addition to using weak under powered power supplies, use ones
that a smaller than the standard easy-to-replace type... Ben Myers
