View Full Version : upgrade gfx on vectra d5736t easy?

gday all,
system has onboasrd cirrus gfx..do i just power off... install new gfx
card(sis 6236) then power up and install new drivers. thanks for any info

Before you power down the system with Cirrus graphics for the last time, set the
graphics card type to Standard (old dumb) VGA. Then shut down, install new
card. Otherwise good old Windows may get itself very confused about the
grpahics... Ben Myers
