Is there a Quicken expert out there that I could pay for some telephone
help? Thanks

Don't be in too big a rush to spend your money; we may be able
to help here for next to nothing ... except some more of your
time and information.

Presumably, you mean you "have several" financial institutions,
"each with cking and savings". In Quicken, the term "account"
has virtually the same meaning as it does at your bank, for
instance, where you might have a checking account and a savings
account. You can have multiple accounts at a single financial
institution in the real-world and in Quicken as well. You can
also have accounts with multiple financial institutions in the
real-world and in Quicken.

Have you ever successfully download to these accounts? Using
Q2003? What steps did you take to setup the accounts? What
type of download: "web-connect", or "direct" (initiated via One
Step Update)?

It sounds like you might be doing web-connect downloads and that
you might have either selected the wrong Quicken account after
the very first download, perhaps because you might have
"enabled" one or more accounts for Online Access before the very
first download.
