I am trying to create a simple report without having to pick a type that
they insist I use.
I want a simple report where I can choose my classes and categories.
None of their formats allow me to do this simple thing.

Never used to be this way. Used to be a Create New Report Button and you
designed whatever format you wanted - not some format choices that are
forced on you
with no other choice I can see.

You've posted this question before and I sent this suggestion:
Try Reports>Cash Flow>Transaction. Then Customize from there.

Did you try that??

Didn't it do what you wanted??

Thanks Streets -
For some reason my original question and your response is missing from my
'history'. Never seen that before.

Your solution worked very well - thanks. I had been trying to accomplish
this via the Reports Icon below the menu bar as opposed to using the Reports
option on the menu bar.

While you are here, is it possible to create reports including dates beyond
the current. I have electronic
transactions scheduled a few days out and they are not included in reports.
Preferences seems to have an unchangeable default to include only items to
the current date.

Regards,
Ron

I tried Custom Date and was able to put in a future date
and see postings I've entered for January, 2005.

But these are not just scheduled transactions but transactions
that I've already entered into a register.

I don't know of any report you can run of future scheduled
transactions (other than Print when in the Sch Txn window).
