Which would give me the best bang for the buck as a relatively cheap
upgrade? I currently have a P4 1.8A cpu on an Asus P4B533 (845E) mb.
My two options are buy a new P4 2.8B cpu or buy a new mb and a P4 2.4c
cpu. The latter will cost me the most but I do already have 2x 512mb of
PC3200 DDR so it is feasible. Which will give me the best performance
increase though? Keep in mind that If I bought the P4 2.8b I do intend
to OC to at least 3.0ghz, I doubt I would OC the P4 2.4c though as the
ram is already maxed out with this cpu. The 533fsb gives me more
headroom on the ram.
