Forms: text_io problem with \\server\path\filename.txt -> ORA-302000

Hi,

when trying to access a file on a network drive from my form application
with

Text_IO.Fopen('"\\server\path\filename.txt"','w');

I always encounter the error ORA-302000.
Trying to exmine it closer with

WHEN OTHERS THEN

does not show any error, TOOL_ERR.NERRORS being 0...
Any suggestions on how to acces a UNC path as given above?

IIRC, Oracle has never supported UNC
