I think so, but I'm not sure. Have you been able to scan?
|
No we are not able to scan or copy or fax. On the hp help site, I tried all
their options to correct the problem, but nothing corrected the problem.
Looks like the scanner is bad, unless I hear otherwise. The printer still
works good, so will probably just use it for that for now.

This error occurs if the scanner bulb is not heating to the correct
temperature or there is some other problem with the scanner hardware. If the
all-in-one works correctly, there is generally not a problem. Perform the
following steps to resolve the problem:
1.. Verify that the scanner bulb is lit. If the scanner bulb will not
light up, the all-in-one must be serviced.
2.. Unplug the power cord and then plug it in again. If the error comes
back, remove the power cord from any power strip and plug it directly into a
wall power outlet. The power strip may not be supplying enough power to the
product.
3.. Perform a partial reset using the following steps:
1.. Unplug the power cord from the all-in-one.
2.. Press and hold the button combination for your all-in-one model
described in HP support document Performing a Partial Reset (c00060793). If
your all-in-one model is not listed in the document, contact HP for
assistance.
3.. While still holding the buttons down, plug the power cord back in.
Release the buttons after the all-in-one begins to initialize.
For more information on performing a partial reset, see the HP support
document, Performing a Partial Reset (c00060793).
4.. Try to make a copy and/or a scan.
5.. If these steps cannot correct the problem, the all-in-one will need to
be serviced.
