Service Manual for Hitachi 21" monitor

I'm having no luck finding a service manual for the Hitachi
cm2198 megapixel monitor. Hitachi won't sell it and I can't
find one at the usual sites. Anyone have some suggestions?

In the early 90s (and perhaps earlier?) SGI used the same sort of
monitor; we had a bunch with our Personal IRISes. This may or may not
be useful...
