It isn't a question of intelligence, it's a question of people continuing to spread unfounded information. Unless you had some considerable knowledge of the situation, it's far from clearly that they're telling the truth.
Yawn!
Aside from the two people I know, who will not post to the NGs anymore
because of your bullying and bad manners... This has become sooooo Boring,
over and over, it's all about you...

There are a lot of postings in these newsgroups which I don't necessarily agree with myself, and I'm probably just as capable of writing replies,
With respect to _your_ replies, you do an excellent job at times of avoiding the questions I ask. I would happy to respect your view if you bothered to give such replies, instead of igorning them.
To be honest, the best thing to do with your posts is to ignore them and get on with discussions with more reasonable and knowledgeable contributors. Your posts are usually filled with self opinionated crap and not really worth the download time. Ray D
Agreed. Naulls comes across as bumptious, opinionated, self-important,
bloody rude and, frankly, boring. He would have us believe he's a clever
chap. Perhaps he is, but his cleverness doesn't seem to be accompanied by
much wisdom nor can he resist being deeply unpleasant to people. If he
can't be civil to folks I wish he'd just keep quiet.

I am now fully PC until a) you [Peter] go and b) software which I need is available on RISC OS in a 32 bit version. I have a feeling that in this small market, you'll find these two demands are mutually-exclusive. -- God made the integers; all else is the work of Man.
Actually the man in this instance was Boole and the a) AND b) condition
have a LOGICAL AND between them. So for Ray to return a) [Peter goes]
AND b) some unspecified 26 bit code is converted to 32bit. It's highly
unlikely that *both* would be TRUE at the same time so I figure Ray
will be old and grey before he has to come storming back to RISC OS (so
relax Ray you can keep playing with Solitare - no one will ever know).
In fact as Peter is a rather competent programmer his disappearance
would make b) (theoretically at least) *less* likely (as the number of
potential developers who could make b) happen would be reduced by
1...).
And yes this all proves I am a very *sad* person it does.....

How do you know he isn't that already?
Indeed, I hadn't thought of that. On the other hand he could be bald,
or have hair that's dyed purple (!) - that more disturbing thought I
tend to avoid though.....
