Default Help wanted: VC4U PC camera

I literally found a PC camera, have managed to get it kind-of going,
but it sometimes restarts my machine. This is not a good thing and I'd
appreciate some dierection in addressing it!

The PC camera is a VC4U, and operates via USB.
My machine is a P4 running XP
Google gave me a place to get the drivers, and I downloaded them from
http://members.driverguide.com/driv...driverid=488522

The camera runs OK, dispalying a window on screen. A video capture will
produce an AVI if I do not choose to have audio, or limit the duration
of the capture.
Electing audio, or not defining a limited period for the capture
results in an immediate re-start of my machine.

I am guessing an interupt clash or something, but dont know where to
start looking (unless the drivers I got are crap?) so I'd appreciate
some direction on where to go from here.

Cheers,
