Default AdventNet Simulation Toolkit for testing and demonstration of NMS/EMS applications

AdventNet Simulation Toolkit is a complete agent/network simulation
software for testing and demonstration of NMS/EMS applications. It
offers an integrated network design environment to create and configure
networks populated with muliple devices like routers, switches,
printers, workstations, and more. The devices can be managed using the
SNMP, Cisco IOS, Telnet, TFTP, FTP and TL1 protocols. Its recording
environment can record and replay real customer networks, thus enabling
the management applications to be tested in huge customer networks.

Ability to simulate 50000+ simultaneously for scalability testing, trap
simulation for fault management testing, configuration of device values
and simulation types for performance testing, behavior simulation for
testing realistic/negative test scenarios across network devices,
start/stop of network at runtime, automated network simulation and
easy-to-use GUI enables full-fledged simulation of large networks.

The latest release version, AdventNet Simulation Toolkit 6 offers a
completely new data model, designed to create and start large networks
in seconds, while consuming very less storage space and offering
superior performance. The performance figures that reflect the superior
request-handling capabilities of Simuation Toolkit 6 is available in
the following link:

*New Features at a glance*

1.New Template based model of device creation and data storage:

- Enables creation of large networks in seconds.
- Occupies very less storage space of MySQL data .
- Enables template based configuration and modification of devices.
(i.e) if 50 devices are created using Template device "A", any bulk
modifications can be achieved by modifying this template device.
- Offers enhanced network performance.

2. GUI changes enhances the user experience with the product:

- Intuitive GUI to enable template based device configuration of table
rows, traps, scripts, MIB(s) loading/ unloading, and protocol specific
parameters, in addition to bulk modification feature.
- Multiple device selection for start/stop/delete agents.
- View network devices as device images/device list.
- View all the inform response in intuitive table GUI.
- Separate wizard to specify 'unique oid values' while creating the
network.
- Enable/disable the display of device library in the network designer.
- Simplified GUI to record real agent values.
- View template tree/device library, after network creation.

3. New Cisco IOS Commands added - EIGRP router mode and Vlan mode.
4. Complete SNMP v2, v3 Inform Support.
5. Package and install individual /multiple devices in the device tree.
6. Execute timer scripts after specified time after agent startup.
7. Command Line utility to create SNMP WALK file.
8. Migration tools to migrate the network/ agent created in release 5
to the latest.
9. New SNMPv3 configuration tool with intuitive GUI, to simplify v3
configurations.
