Hi,

Regarding: Subject: HP iPAQ PDA: alarm no longer works, sent Sept 21 in this ng.
Quote:
The notification alarm for events and tasks has stopped working, on my HP iPAQ rx1950 series PDA, with Win mobile 5.0.

Since my message of Sept 21 received no replies, this is not the correct ng.
If anyone can suggest an appropriate ng, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,
Dugie

Thanks, Davy.

Ummm.... to which "computer help desk" do you refer?

First I searched for "computer help desk" in my ISP ng's, no results. Then I Goggled for it. Is this what you mean?
http://groups.google.ca/group/computerhelpdesk?hl=en

It currently has 3 members, and the only post was the "mission statement," on Tues, Mar 22 2005 3:56 am. :-)

There were many other Google hits, Wikipedia among them:

Start with www.aximsite.com which is the only windows pda site I know.
There is a lot of expertise there and the 'good guys' will likely refer
you to a more appropriate site if there is only. The Dell Axim is not
much different than an iPaq.

You could ask in the HP user forum for iPAQ at:
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/...?categoryId=273
or in the microsoft.public.pocketpc newsgroup found on the
news://msnews.microsoft.com server.
