You should debug the script... (make a copy, and "set -x" high enough,
try to run it step by step).
It chokes on different aspects of ClearCase running:
- kernel module loaded
- fuser on /view returns nothing
I don't know AIX, but I know I have had some situations on Linux when
reboot was the only way.
Try to lock your vobs before doing anything harsh.
