If you can post them on a web-site or preferably in a binaries newsgroup, I'd be
glad to convert them for you with Print House 6. (Do you REALLY want them as
bitmaps rather than preserving them in a vector format?)
That would be awesome, however there are 7 files totalling 800 meg (4 of
them are 200 meg).. i figured it would be esier to just get the program ..
the smallest i have is 3 meg .. maybe we can prove the theory with the
smallest one ..
I figured the jpg format would use compession etc and be printable by most
applications .. i dont believe they want to edit or change them , just view
and print on demand ..

Yes - those are humongous files! And excessively timeconsuming to up-load unless
you have a mega-bit rated UPload speed. Have you tried contacting other people
near your location? Ask in a computer store, look for a user group, or some
local business that might have people with similar interests?
Converting to .wmf would retain scalability and still be usable in most apps.
Depending on quality requirements, Jpeg compression can lose a lot.
Various versions of Corel Print House are widely available, very inexpensively.
- as low as about US$4 (25 ZAR) and maybe less on E-bay. I don't imagine that
the shipping, even to South Africa, would be particularly expensive. The
program CD (the only one you need) is about 600MB.
Go to Google / Froogle and enter
Corel Print House

LOL .. yeah and i dont have that kinda connetion ...
I have asked a few of my buddies, but they are more into gaming and stuff ..
the best i could think of was this sort of news group, somthing with 'corel'
in it .. hehe .. i found an old copy of corel, i installed it hoping it
would read it but not.
i saw somthing on the net that the latest version of corel can rad it but i
have been caught out like that before thinking somthing does what i need , i
purchase it and it accutally doesnt...
I think your idea of paying 4$ for COREL PRINT HOUSE, is looking more and
more appealing .. but i would want to be 100% sure that the version i buy
will do the job , im only going to un install it afterwards ..
Strange that there is no simple converter out ther, even if it were just for
cph to wmf (as u suggest) it would make the corel files more useable with
other apps. i cant be the only person on the planet needing to do this.maybe
im feeling sorry for myself now :-)

Corel Draw Suite 12 does NOT read the CPH files (even if renamed to CPO)

I dug up and installed both Print House Magic (includes Print House V3) and
Print House 6. All of the samples in both of those packages are .cph format and
read just fine. PH6 MAY only work under Windows XP. If you're under an earlier
OS, check it out before investing (even $4!)
Corel Print Office is another incarnation of Print House and would handle those
files as well.

I did some digging myself, and duplicated your results - nothing but Print
House. For a last gasp, you could try contacting Corel customer support
directly; I looked for an appropriate news group on Corel's dedicated newsserver

Someone followed up on your question in the printhouse and corel draw forums at
cnews.corel.com - For anyone else following this thread, the response was tht
Corel Version 9 (and no later versions) could open the cph files. Amazon has it
for US$12.91 and other copies as low as $7.30
