Default Help with CorelDraw9 and Windows XP

I recently got a new computer with Windows XP. I loaded my old trusty
CorelDraw 9, but is freezing up when I try to open a file or save one.
I have tried changing the compatibility to Windows Me, but it only
gets worse. Any suggestions?

Other than upgrading to X3. I have tried newer versions, but they seem to
run too slow.

that's because WinME sucked as an OS.

what level of an acct are you logged on as? is your default printer on? what
are your swap file settings, etc, etc, etc. you need to give a lot more
detail for people to help you.

Draw 9 runs fine in XP. As Hunter suggested, you need to have a printer
installed and active.
