text tool cursor disappeared in Illustrator CS mac

Default text tool cursor disappeared in Illustrator CS mac
the cursor in my illustator CS mac power pc text tool has disappeared!
I can edit text an so on, but not knowing where you are in the text is
very troublesome.
I´ve tried to restart CS several times, also restarted my computer to
no effect.
Any ideas on what´s wrong?

That must be fun!

I would get rid of the preferences file. And then give a restart. In OS
X the Preference files have an extension .plist

Trash the Adobe one.

The computer must have done it for me, after a second restart of the
computer, I suddenly got the cursor back :-)
But thank you anyway, I´ll probably need to make use of your tip
sometime in the future considering it´s bug-ridden adobe products I´m
using ;-)
