Default how to save as .cdr v12?

Hi,

I am using corel draw X3 - trial version. I want to save my files as
..cdr but for version 12. I am not able to open my files in Version 12.
how do i do this?? is there a way thru which I can convert them
atleast?

This should be straightforward, I also had the trial version before
buying X3.
Go to File/Save_As
then in the message window, on the right side in the "Version:" box
select 12
I tested saving as versions 9 and 11 with no problems apart from missing
fonts on a different PC.
