of
knowing what you're talking about if you don't respond to a previous

Get a real usenet program, or learn how to use that appalling dog's
vomit Google interface to usenet. Even there, it's entirely possible to
reply to messages, and people do it Every Single Day.

Or, get used to people not know what the hell you're talking about, and
either ignoring you or making fun of you, 'cause that's what will
happen.

1 Google can be used in a USENET-friendly way, that is with proper quotations
(or at least close enough) and by posting a a reply in the same thread and
replying to the proper message. Many others do this.

2 if you can't get Google to behave, you might want to try using a real
newsreader, or even an imitation one such as Output Express. You are using
Windows; Output Express ships with Windows. You are using Firefox;
Thunderbird can be downloaded for free from the same site as Firefox, and is
a far better newsreader (and mail client) than Output Express anyway. There
are many other newsreaders for Windows, not least being Forte (Free) Agent.

3 there are many Mac newsreaders, not least being MT-NewsWatcher. You might
try using a Mac newsreader...

4 if you keep on using Google but don't correct your problems, you will
a) be mocked mercilessly
b) be mocked mercilessly and then killfiled as a hopeless loser

Your future is in your hands.

Um, I just took a look at Google Groups, and each post is followed by a
Reply link. Take a look, it's right there below every single one. And,
if you click on Show Options, it's also there _above_ each post.

Also, my name is spelled "Rosenberg," and that's just a matter of seeing
what's on your screen and typing the same thing.

Um, I have no idea who you are or what you're referring to. Well, I can
see the subject line, where, sure enough, my name is misspelled and then
spelled correctly, but...
