Can an Ultra 10 be laid on its side as opposed to sitting upright. I
would like to fit it into a rack shelf. Which side? I would think the
the half height side.

Thanks

Hi,

Any tower system can be operated if it is laid on its side as long as the
motherboard is on the lower side.

Is there a specific physical reason for that?

The only thing I remember was that hard disks should be mounted with the
platters either parallel or at a right angle with gravity...
