Default Perfore range specification

In the old perforce 97 version,

p4 files @123,
=> lists files from change 123 to the latest.

However in the later 2002, 2004, 2005 versions,
this gives error.

Has the spec changed?

It seems to have tightened up. This syntax works:
p4 files @123,now

As does this:
p4 files "@>=123"
(Note the quotes so > isn't interpreted as redirection.)
