Default MEDION 17" LCD display 1280 x 1024

Has anyone tried to connect a MEDION 17" LCD 1280 x 1024 screen to a
IYONIX.

This screen is available from ALDI and seems a good buy at £100

Buy it and give it a try. ALDI have a good returns policy if you can't get it
to work.

I use it on my Iyonix without problems. Only - point is it takes about
5 to 10 seconds to do a auto adjust. If you only use it on a single
computer that's not a problem.

Good luck,

Peter

Many thanks for all the comments. I will report back when I have bought one and tried it out.

My next door neighbour went to Aldi today (Thursday 12/10/06) and
couldn't see one. In dismay he asked at the checkout, and was told
that they were all in the manager's office - from whence they appeared
when asked for!

I was a bit puzzled at first how to set the screen up until I realized
that there was a "Monitor type LL-172A" sitting at the bottom of the
list. As soon as I set that I got 16 million colours and 1280 x 1024
resolution.

All seems to be OK and I am very pleased with it.

What now happens to my trusty IIama 411?

Geoffrey
