Susan,
I finally understand what's going on with the program description
updates. Was confusing description updates with nominations. I'll wait
until nominations to submit Screamer.

You might be interested in a marvellous new technology. It's called
"e-mail".

As I recall it was completely childlike remarks like yours Andy that
pissed me off enuf to unsubscribe about a year ago. Please note
everybody, "Don't use the Ping method anymore, Andy might criticize
you." Oh wait, it's only John Corliss that can't do it, right?
Get a life,

So...you recommend that personal messages to fellow subscribers be
sent via email. Excellent advice - I feel sure it will bear repeating.

Well, but it's alt.comp.freeware and not alt.comp.e-mail-replacement. Since
our freeware crusader John Corliss is so tenacious in keeping this groups
signal to noise ratio high, I too wonder why he (and others) always post
this shit (*ping*, *SPAM*, etc).

You should be easily able to set up a filter in your newsreader on the
subject line inclusion "SPAM*. However, you're right about the Ping
thing. Perhaps it would be better to use *PING* for easier filtering.

First of all, what are you agreeing with? Jörg didn't make a statement,
he asked a question.

You know, there is a simple alternative if you don't like reading me
posts. You DO know how to use your killfile, don't you? Unlike some
others, I don't use sock puppets.
