Default Test Director 8.0 Question

I have recently become a Software Test Engineer and one of my first
tasks is to improve the current Test Director environment. Quick Break
Down.

My team uses TD8.0 as a functional tool. The server is located overseas
and as a result we experience very poor performance. My hope is that we
can somehow install a server here and have the teams work off of a
local image. I would like to have the local image syncronized with the
overseas server so that our overseas partners can also update as needed
without losing data from either location.

Is this possible with TD8.0 and How can I make this happen?

Thank you for any help.

This no TestDirector feature.

Maybe you will find a database which is able to do the job - but as
TestDirector saves data not only in a database, but also in files
(attachments, settings, views, reports, etc.), there is not much hope
for you.

Maybe your problem can better be solved on the networking level - best
internet connection, strong providers - but sorry, I don't know any details.

We have a TD connection over a permanent line (I think) which is about
300 Km long and there is no felt difference to our local servers.
